There will always be such and such situations in the process of ink printing. The following will list some common faults and corresponding solutions, as follows:

Suzhou silk screen printing ink

1. Small bubbles during printing

Cause analysis: ink is too thick, ink in the air, printing speed is too fast, too much ink.

Solution: add diluent to ink, static ink for air release, reduce printing speed, replace the rubber scraping with higher hardness.

2. Pinhole/trachoma

Cause analysis: ink is too thin, screen small holes, substrate surface dust, glue scraping pressure is too large, mesh distance is not appropriate, screen tension is too low.

Solution: add new ink, plug holes, clean substrate surface, reduce the squeegee pressure, increase the network distance, check the screen tension.

3. Defects in pictures and texts after printing

Cause analysis: the screen is not clean, substrate surface is not clean

Solution: check the screen, clean the work site sanitation and increase humidity, clean substrate surface.

4. The picture and text definition is not enough after printing

Cause analysis: ink is too thin, back ink knife pressure is too large, round scraping head, network distance is not appropriate, electrostatic action.

Solutions: add new ink, reduce the pressure of ink knife, replace the appropriate glue scraper, increase the network distance, increase some methods in addition to static electricity.

5. Uneven ink

Cause analysis: substrate surface defects, ink uneven, ink transparency is poor or too thin.

Solution: improve the substrate surface or print a layer of transparent oil as a base; Uniform back ink, uniform printing ink, reduce diluent.

6 ink dry net and plug net

Cause analysis: ink is too thick, ink particles are too thick, the room temperature is too high, the screen is not good, the squeegee pressure is too large, the mesh distance, the squeegee hardness is not enough.

Solution: clean screen and dilute ink, filter ink, increase damping solvent, adjust exposure parameters and plate, adjust squeegee pressure, adjust mesh distance, for higher hardness squeegee.
